Recipe 6x6 swap

I joined a 6x6 recipe swap and we are doing one page every 2 months. This was my first submission for Sweets & Desserts. My recipe was Old Fashioned Apple Dumplings. I used the Washington Apple DSP and embossed apples in red. Then I printed and mounted my recipe on Bashful Blue CS and embellished with apple cores, swirly, and flower with a clear rhinestone brad. The cores were made using the round tab punch. One from each~ Certainly Celery, Riding Hood Red, and Confetti White. Tear the rounded ends off of the celery and red ones, then adhere them to the round ends of the Confetti white. Use a black Stampin' Write marker to make seeds. I actually forgot to make stems, but it looks OK I think. Pop them up with dimensionals. I CASE'd this idea from Debi Post, a former SU demonstrator from VA. Thank you Debi! Have a great day!

Thank you! I am waiting to receive my pkg of swaps. Many ladies got them today. I didn't come up with the idea, Krista Rill did. Mine will be a wedding gift when finished I think.

Hi Bethany--great new blog header--love it! I wonder how Debi is doing? Haven't seen her post for awhile.

Your swap looks delicious!

She is on Pretty Paper Pieces. She has a lot of health problems and doesn't stamp much any more. She told me today it has been over a year since she made a card. She keeps such a positive attitude through all her trials.
