Hello! I have some new pictures to share. I actually stamped! Here is a birthday card I made for a friend and a baby shower card I CASEd from my friend Robin Merriman. She sent me one after my baby was born and I thought it was so cute I had to copy.

Also, my baby just turned 3 months old! She weighs over 15 pounds, measures 24 1/2 inches, and is as happy as you could ever hope to have a baby be! She loves to bounce and jump and can sit for a whole minute by herself. Well, I have some birthday and anniversary card showers to send out this week so maybe I'll remember pictures! Bye for now.

Hello again!

Hi again after a looong time! A lot has happened since I posted last! I am going to try to be better about posting at least twice a week. A new year and a lot of new challenges to face. We welcomed our 7th child on December 22, 2010 @ 4:14 AM. Weighing 7 lbs. 10 oz. and measuring 18.5 inches, Holly Noelle is a blessing for sure! She is really growing fast and weighed in at 8 lb 4 oz after only 10 days. Yesterday she started to laugh and is getting personality already. Her brothers and sisters are very happy to have her here. She does pretty good with sleeping and the help I get from Hannah and some of the other kids makes all the other jobs so much easier. I am hoping to get caught up on sewing in the next couple of weeks so I can focus on stamping classes again.
Having 5 children in school is a full-time job, too. Hannah is in 9th grade and was just nominated for Honors classes. She is doing very well. Jonathan & Devon do not like school but have tolerated it a little better lately. Galen & Heidi are getting better at reading and enjoy school very much. They thought it was great when we took the family to the Keystone Farm Show on Wednesday. We now have enough pencils/pens/notepads/erasers to supply a whole class of 1st graders for a year or so! Well, that's it for today. Talk to you all soon!

Technique Class for March

We had a lot of fun and everyone learned something new. We did 4 techniques~ Spotlight with Upsy Daisy, Stained Glass with the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set, Faux Metal with I (Heart) Hearts, and 2-step stamping with Greenhouse Garden. I think the 2-step was the most difficult to get 'perfect'. My 13 yr old daughter says "Oh cool!" a lot but she does not want to help make them.
Well, I'm off to Market with 3 kids to sell pottery, do some schoolwork, and embroider T-shirts. Have a great day!

Some more workshop projects

This 6x6 page was CASE'd from Jackie Topa. She is the "Queen of punch art" and has such cute things on her blog. I thought this guy would be cute for an Easter page.......but I miscalculated and there was no room for any picture. So it will be the cover page. Isn't it cute?

One of the recent challenges on LNStampers group was "butterflies" and this card caught my eye. I don't remember the artist. The ribbon is actually our retired "Pacific Point" but everything else is current.

Last but not least, this card using the lattice die was CASE'd from Emma over at "Lady and the Stamp". I just found her blog and am trying to talk her into joining our group. She does beautiful work! I used this for our Make-and-Take. I used Old Olive CS, Pawsitively Prints, and the lattice die. The corduroy button in the center was a sweet accent.

Well, tomorrow I want to finish getting stuff ready for my technique class on Thursday night. We are meeting at 14622 Country Club Rd, New Freedom, PA 17349. Time is 6:30 PM, cost is $10. Bring a friend and get a free prize. Remember~ every $50 order gets a free stamp set. Our first 4 techniques are: Spotlight, Faux Metal, Stained Glass, and 2-step stamping. Have a great day everyone! I hope to be back tomorrow..........

Projects from my 1st workshop

I have been in Stampin' Up for 1 1/2 years and finally had my first workshop! Thanks Carla! I focused mainly on the Big Shot and punches this time because the ladies there are new owners of one. We had fun, good food, and made pretty things. We also decided to have a monthly technique class~ starting this Thursday! After the last lady gets her Big Shot next month we will try some classes on that order too. Here is what I came up with~
A rose with the ornament punch CASE'd from Chera Weist

A birdhouse with the Mini Milk Carton Die CASE'd from Becky Roberts

I will have some more to show you tomorrow. Have a great day!
